Crescent City Series

Last night I finished book 3 of the Crescent City Series, House of Shadow and Flame.  There really isn't anything I can recap or say without sharing any possible spoilers.  I will say, stick with initial book (book 1) until something happens to Danika.  That start is rough, but it's designed to set you up to see Characters in a certain way.

I also love how this author strings you along on this roller coaster ride and you've been given bread crumbs all along.  Very good story.  Very good ending.  Likely one of my all-time fav stories.

It's been confirmed that a book 4 is coming.  I don't see how.  The story ending is very complete and 'finished'.  I guess she could side arc it on either a prequal or take on more story on some of the other minor characters.

Over all though, fantastic story.

With July coming to an end...

I've truly been busy within World of Warcraft.  I've mount collected, transmog farmed, completed limited-timed events and even leveled some alts and finished some much needed reputation completion.  

While Winds of Wisdom will be around for another week, the Collector's Bounty and Greedy Emissary will be ending on Tuesday.

Some of these mounts have been highly coveted by every player since their launch to the game, such as Invincible and Ashes of Al'ar.  There's even a 'ha-ha, gotcha' quest you can do to deliver the lost mail to an NPC, that being none other than Invisible's Reins itself, only adding burn to many players who only wished this happened to them!  One such as the Raven Lord, I've been trying to obtain since about 2010.  With the event winding down, I think it would be cool to get at least 2 more mounts to round it off to a nice round number.  But if not, it's still great progress to any collector's numbers. 

I finished off getting all the tier 2 "20 Anniversary" recolor armor sets for each class today from the Greedy Emissary.  There's speculation these are going to return at a later date, but my FOMO wants me to have them now and not wait.  Even if I never use them, or play the class.

Maybe now I can dust off other games and play them for a while... Then again, season 3 is coming right around the corner, so it'll be back to grinding and finding all the secrets to the new zone!

I've been nothing to you!

 I've been nothing to you but the brunt of your hatred, theft, malice vitriol since you've met me.  Yet you claim you'd want nothing or wish nothing of me or my family.  Lies.  All of it lies.

While I've forgiven you for the hatred that you spew, moreso I have forgiven myself for allowing to carry that of you with me for so long.  You are not my family, thankfully.  And I don't have to do anything for you or with you.  Again, thankfully.

So you can continue to harbor and safeguard yourself for your 'mental wellbeing' - I'm a firm believer you're likely living with your own cursed memories of your own doing.  Good luck to you and may you eventually find forgiveness.

Collector's Bounty, Dastardly Duo's, Greedy Emissary, Turbulent Timewaves, and N'zoth's Visions Revisted.

 At the beginning of July I felt very overwhelmed with all the stuffs that were available to be done by end of the month.  A lot of the goodies in place are only available for the month of July.

Events going on until Season 3 begins

I had wondered about the Revisited Visions as there weren't any end dates on the in game calendar.  This handy site tracks your progress when you link your Bnet account.  As you can see, I have about 17 more days to collect ~ 200 more tokens to get all the recolor T2 Anniversary sets.

Thanks for the Carry - 500 Mounts, obtained!

In everything that has been obtainable, I've been busting my butt collecting mounts.  I've obtained some very hard and sought after mounts.  I've even taken time to grind and level up some professions to complete some mounts.

Visions Revisited

There's this mount and a void-jewel panther I'll have finished next week that you had to gather and "build."  The materials for the most part were only found within the visions, so unless this event will return these mounts might become more rare than some that are just low percentage loot drop.

I'm not finished with 'farming' but I did chunk a huge check of completion on what I wanted to do.  There are a few miscellany mounts I hope yet to obtain, but technically those mounts aren't going anywhere and will still be obtainable.  I would like to finish getting the limited time stuffs and ...(Next week?) when the winds buff comes on I would like to finish up the reputation that I'm needing to complete.
